A Charity Gala Dinner, Tasting & Auction

Magandeep Singh, India’s first French-certified sommelier and a renowned wine commentator and Peter Csizmadia-Honigh, writer of Bor Világ [Wine World] – an independent bilingual wine commentary – and properietor of Royal Somló Vineyards have teamed up to present this exquisite dinner and tasting of Hungarian wines. It will feature an auction in support of Genesis Foundation. All the proceeds from the aution will contribute to support the treatment of critically ill children. The dinner will showcase indigenous Hungarian varieties: Furmint, Kadarka and Kékfrankos. There will be a vertical tasting of Kopár Cuvée, the most iconic Hungarian red wine, from three different vintages: 2008, 2007 and 2004. The selection of wines will include two superb Bikavér wines from Eger. The dinner will finish with an assortment of Tokaji wines: late harvest, 5 and 6 puttonyos aszús and the Tokaji Esszencia will be the icing on the cake.
